Lena Zerbinopoulos

Lena lives with her husband and two rare disorders - medullary sponge kidneys (MSK) and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) - a painful connective tissue disorder.

It was the diagnosis of hEDS in 2016 that empowered her to take control of her health and start a Pilates routine. After years of consistent practice, the chronic pain had significantly reduced overall and completely disappeared in some areas - greatly improving her daily functionality.

Lena merged her 25 years’ experience in accounting with her passion for movement with the opening of her first studio in Manchester, NH in April of 2021. Her continued goal is to introduce as many people as possible to the powerful, therapeutic benefits of Pilates.

In April of 2024, she opened a location on Columbus Avenue in the South end of Boston, followed by a third location on North Street in the North end of Boston.

While Lena is certified in mat and reformer Pilates, the reformer has her heart. She believes that education is a life-long process and not an end goal.

As Lena continuously seeks out ways to help people move better, she slowly makes her way through her comprehensive certification journey through Balanced Body education.
